Third Street Studio & Gallery opened its doors October 1, 2017, in a newly renovated building located in historic Malta, Ohio.
Third Street offers artists of varied abilities the opportunity to create and sell their art in a storefront environment open to the public, Monday – Friday, 9am-2pm and the third Saturday of each month.
Artists have choices in working with multiple mediums including but not limited to paint, ink, canvas, paper, wood, fabric, and yarn. Artist are encouraged to find and develop their own personal style, participate in all aspects of their projects from start to finish, planning, sketching, substrate, color palette, varnishing and pricing.
Artists also participate in community art displays, plein air painting, visiting museums and working artist studios, community membership, volunteering, Gentle Yoga, 100 Miles in 100 Days Walking Challenge and Self Advocacy Group, just to name a few.
